This is the first post for me for the year 2012...
Not to worry... my new year's resolution for this year was to procrastinate as much as possible... I think I've done a good job.
To tell you the truth, I have been busy these past couple of months... and whatever time I have, I spend it in an almost comatose state... I have overstretched my mind and body. I look at my face in the mirror and it looks like I haven't slept in a week. I certainly do feel like it.
So how's 2012 been treating me? Feels exactly the same as 2011. (That was anti-climactic)
My life has been full though... my son started primary school. Now that's an entire blog post, right there. So I won't spend time writing about it here.
I did go on a vacation. Went to Hat Yai with my family ++. Note that there's a "++" there... total there was almost 40 people that went... I don't talk about vacations here... this is not a travel blog (I wonder if I would get more readers if I did do travel reviews?).
Other than that it has been work, traffic jams, sleep, tv, eating...
Not much for the first post of the year, right?
If you've actually been following this blog, you would know that I always have this short type of post whenever I've been absent for a long time... it's my 'excuse for not writing' post...
Now on to the new stories...
Date is just a common use measurement for everyone so that we are saying the same day. But, the meaning of the date is personal. No matter is 2011 or 2012 or even 2013, it is just a number. My birthday will only meant to me but not you or any of you. Maybe my mum cares as I have made her the most painful day in her life. ;p
ReplyDeleteWe try to label some of the days to remind ourselves to do something for someone or the other way round. With dates, we can set timelines to achieve different goals. You will have these checkpoints to help you to keep track on your progress and along the journey, we can experience whatever. However, if there is nothing that you have committed, you will not initiate anything, then it should be normal that every year you feel the same, right?
Maybe your first blog in 2012 just get started but by end of the year, possible that you might have more postings than 2011.. You will never know and I wish it happens.. ;p
actually, it's not much of a target... i wrote only 30 blog posts last year... 35 the year before that...
ReplyDeleteThen put it this way, in two years, you have total of 65 blogs. Coming these 2 years, you can choose to increase the number or decrease the number..
ReplyDeleteYou decide the time line. No one shall set the time line for you. By end of the day, it will be: In your life until year 20XX, you have total of XXX blogs...
